HVAC Pressure Sensors

Most HVAC energy waste and ventilation failure starts with a pressure reading that drifted. Superior Sensor’s HVAC sensors deliver the long-term stability that keeps building systems accurate between commissioning cycles.

Differential Pressure Sensors

HVAC pressure sensors fail in two predictable ways: noise from fans and blowers corrupts the signal, and sensors drift between calibration cycles, degrading system performance invisibly. Superior Sensor’s NimbleSense architecture addresses both. Multi-order digital filtering removes fan and blower noise at the front end, before it affects readings, keeping airflow calculations, DPT readings, and VAV control loops accurate under real operating conditions. Multi-Range technology consolidates up to eight pressure ranges into a single sensor, reducing part count and simplifying bill-of-materials management across a product line. The same architecture supports application-specific configurations, from differential pressure transmitters to handheld commissioning tools, without requiring a separate sensor for each design.

Sample Applications

HVAC pressure sensing covers applications ranging from commercial building automation and indoor air quality monitoring to smart home devices and handheld commissioning tools, each with distinct accuracy, stability, and noise demands, including:
